From the Pastor
Today is a huge day in the life of our church. It’s the day that we make our commitments about what God would have us give to missions. Missions is the very heartbeat of God! Missions has been the heartbeat of WFBC. I know that God has blessed our church because when you honor what God honors, God will bless!
This morning it is a privilege to have Aaron Vance with us. Aaron and his wife, Aubrie, and their four daughters have been serving the Lord in Columbia, South America as full-time church planters since 2013. Why do people like the Vances go to Columbia? Why does our church emphasize missions and ask people to give to support missionaries like the Vances? The following paragraph is Aaron’s own words explaining why.
For just over 20 years, Colombia has had full religious freedom. The truth is, most people are looking for something else. The dead faith of their fathers has been proven to be empty and non-fulfilling. They need another alternative. They need Jesus Christ, but we have failed to reach them. Out of all latin american countries, Colombia has been commonly reported as the least evangelized. Perhaps, it is because of the violence that has afflicted this nation. Perhaps, it is because of the fear of other Christian nations to take them the gospel. Perhaps, it is because we haven’t clearly seen the need. Perhaps, it is because we just don’t care. Whatever the case may be, we must do all in our power to evangelize Colombia.
We must do all in our power to Advance the Gospel in Columbia, in South America, and all over the world!

Passion in our Worship
- Each motivation is progressively more compelling
The result of looking at myself and what I have
The result of looking at others and what they don’t have
The result of looking at God and what he deserves
- November 22 Communion
- November 24 Praise Service
