From the Pastor
This morning we get to participate in the Lords Supper, a wonderful command that Jesus gave to the church. We also refer to this as communion. The word communion perfectly sums up why Jesus allowed His body to be broken and His blood to be shed. God wants a relationship with you, with me. Sin separates us from God, but at the cross Jesus paid our penalty and made a way for us to have fellowship/communion with God.
How close does Jesus want us to be to Him? In John 6 He called Himself the “Bread of Life” which means that we are nourished by Him; we survive because of Him; and we are satisfied and fulfilled only in Him. This morning as we eat the bread and drink the cup remember and proudly show that Jesus died to meet the greatest need that we have in our life – our need for Him!
Wow! Communion with God. Lord help us never get over what You did for us on the cross!

Ongoing Events
- Acts Challenge
The Acts Challenge is designed to encourage every member of WFBC to be engaged and intentional with the Gospel. You can participate in three ways.
1. Make a connection – simply invite someone to church by handing them an invitation card. Don’t forget to encourage them to use the QR code or go to the website.
2. Have a conversation – ask God for opportunities to ask people if they know for sure that Jesus is their Savior.
3. Pray for conversions – only God can do this but He does it through His Word and our faithful witness. Pray He will save people.
Let us Know – help us reach our goal by recording your weekly activities each Sunday AM in the auditorium at the Acts Challenge Display.
