Men In the gap

PURPOSE
Men in the Gap exists to build up men by equipping them with a Biblical identity, calling, and mission. It will also encourage them to actively stand in the gap as men in the body of Christ.

MISSION

  • Build-up: assemble, make a person or body stronger 
  • Equipping: to furnish useful tools for service or action 
  • Identity: set of distinguishing characteristics, sameness 
  • Calling: beckoning, charge, or invitation 
  • Mission: important assignment to be carried out 
  • Active: rejects passivity 
  • Stand in the Gap: idea of protection or advocate on the behalf of another 
  • Ideals: standard of perfection, principle to aim at, exemplified by strong character and integrity

VALUES

  • God's design: to replenish the earth and have dominion over it
  • Family Shepherding: Godly ambition to build a lasting spiritual legacy 
  • Brotherhood/Accountability: “as iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend” Proverbs 27:17
  • Kingdom Service: faithfully serve the Body of Christ, widowed and fatherless 
  • Faithful Prayer: Dedicated life of prayer
