Our Mission
On the second Sunday of July, 1973, Stewart Street Baptist Church was started with ten charter members in the old Northside Baptist building on Stewart Street in Milton, Florida, led by Pastor Jerry Walker. They quickly saw God bless them and that small group of believers as additional souls were saved and lives were changed.
Today, we continue that legacy at West Florida Baptist Church for the purpose of Loving God with our whole being, Loving Others as ourselves, and continuing to make Disciples for Jesus Christ.
Our Mission is that you would Believe in Jesus and His transforming power, Belong to His church, and Become everything He created you to be.

WFBC gathers on a weekly basis to worship God openly, to grow through the preaching and teaching of God’s word, and to encourage one another in the faith.
“And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” - Hebrews 10:24-25
