Day #26 | Behold 2028 Devotional

Feb 26, 2025

“And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest.” - Ezekiel 37:3

As I think about BEHOLD 2028, I’m reminded of the incredible opportunity we have to

invest in something eternal. This campaign isn’t just about building an auditorium—it’s

about building faith. It’s about creating a space where future generations can

experience the power and presence of God, a place where our faith becomes a

foundation for theirs.

In Ezekiel 37, God brings the prophet to a valley of dry bones—a scene of

hopelessness and death. The bones represent Israel’s despair, saying, “Our bones are

dried, and our hope is lost” (v. 11). But God commands Ezekiel to prophesy, and as he

God's Spirit moves. The bones come together, flesh covers them, and breath fills

them, transforming a lifeless valley into a living, breathing army. God declares, “Ye shall

know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought

you up out of your graves” (v. 13).

This vision wasn’t just about restoring Israel; it was about proving God’s power and

faithfulness. It was a promise that left no doubt: God is the LORD, and He can bring life

from the most impossible situations.

That’s what BEHOLD 2028 is all about. It’s not just a building—it’s a testimony. It’s a

declaration to the next generation that the God who breathes life into dry bones is still at

work today.

As I think about the teenagers I serve, I wonder: What will they see in us? Will they see

a church that steps out in faith, trusting God to do what only He can do? Will they see

us proclaiming boldly, “He is the LORD,” by our obedience? The next generation is

watching, and our faith will become their example.

Let’s be a church that inspires their faith—not with words alone, but with action. May our

trust in God spark in them a boldness to follow Him and proclaim His power in their

time.

“Lord, as we trust You with BEHOLD 2028, let the next generation see and know

that You are the LORD. May our faith inspire them to follow You boldly. Amen.”
